Sylvan Park/Nations

Sandwiched between the Nations and West End, Sylvan Park is a quaint area filled with residential options but is perhaps best known for it's locally-owned restaurants. Locals enjoy Nashville favorites like Smokin' Thighs BBQ, M.L. Rose, and Sandbar. Sylvan Park is home to McCabe Golf Course, a 27-hole public golf course in the middle of the city. On the other side of I-40 sits The Nations, one of the most popular and fastest growing areas in the city. As it experiences such rapid development, it has become home to some of Nashville's hottest restaurants such as Oscar's Taco Shop, Nickey's Coal Fired Pizza, Fat Bottom Brewery, and local favorite – 51st Deli. Here you will also find a wide array of murals, most famously the “Silo” mural of long-time Nations resident Lee Estes who called the neighborhood home since the 1920's painted by internationally renowned muralist Guido Van Helton.
