The Paddle Inn was a wonderful escape! The space was spotlessly clean and even more charming than the photos showed, with thoughtful touches like a welcome basket and great local recommendations. The host, Tim Allen, was incredibly responsive to my questions and made me feel welcome. I especially appreciated the location. Walkable to both town and beach, it was ideal. I would definitely book again!

A lovely location in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Walkable to downtown area and the Ocean. Carmel is a little unique in they do not use numbers on houses. If you’re not acquainted with the area make sure you have a picture of the house for ease of finding it between 11th and 12 street. Tim Allen’s team was helpful throughout my stay. There are chairs in the front of the house that are enjoyable for morning sun and tea/coffee. The gardener and hot tub maintenance personnel are charming and respectful. There is a place to park a car behind a motorized gate, a tight squeeze, but that’s typical for Carmel.
