Welcome to Vik's Views – A corner of the CHORD newsletter highlighting Nashville's incredible neighborhoods from up high! This month's rooftop is especially near and dear to my heart and where my crazy passion for rooftops began – my own home!
I remember the day during construction when my husband Woody & I climbed to the top story of what would be our new home on the corner of Evanston & Dickerson Pike in Cleveland Park. The moment we saw the view, Woody looked at me and said, “this is it – we are moving here!” It started as a dream that day and has become almost four years of the gorgeous city backdrop and rooftop celebrations. From day one we have been watching the sunset from our terrace reflect on beautiful downtown Nashville, enjoying many spectacular fireworks shows and too many joyous celebrations with friends and family to count. Our time here is nearly over – we are moving into a new chapter of life and currently packing & preparing for our new home. We have amazing new buyers that will soon be soaking up the awesome views and enjoying all this growing part of the city has to offer.
As for me, the role is flipped this time, and we are now enjoying the amazing client experience with CHORD. Our boutique brokerage offers the best for our clients and we are passionate about creating seamless, well-resourced transactions. Going above and beyond is what we do everyday. Ultimately our home went under contract in record time and while our rooftop is now officially off the market, there are some incredible new construction rooftops available just a few blocks away! The Cleveland Park neighborhood, in particular the Dickerson Road corridor, is popping right now! The location is amazing and the perfect trifecta between Downtown, Germantown and East Nashville. There is so much connectivity to the various interstates, unique and amazing shops and eateries… and yep, in my opinion – the best skyline views in the city!
