Sydney Dohrmann

Born and raised in Nashville, Sydney Dohrmann has witnessed first-hand the dramatic development of Music City as well as all the city has to offer its residents and visitors (often future residents). With a degree from MTSU in Recording Industry and Business Administration, Sydney simultaneously went to work for the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation as well as the Country Music Association working in hospitality and events putting her insider’s knowledge to work while also serving top level creatives and corporate clientele. Sydney’s passion for serving people from all walks of life, facilitating creative events and development of interactive online content opened the doors for her to co-chair the wildly successful Words & Music Program for the Country Music Hall of Fame where she matched participants and notable songwriters in co-writes and content development that ultimately included over 10,000 students and veterans per year.

About the time the 2020 pandemic hit, CHORD Real Estate was dramatically expanding its online presence connecting locally as well as in major feeder markets (e.g. NYC, LA, Chicago, etc.) and reimagining how virtual and physical events could impact community (both commercially and in their local non-profit endeavors). CHORD Nashville had known of Sydney and her work for quite some time, and when the Music Industry went on relative hiatus, the agency made the proposal to her to join the team on Music Row as the official “Concierge In Charge” managing hospitality, events, vendor partnerships and other high level administrative efforts. CHORD was pleased to announce that Sydney joined the team in late August 2020; she immediately jumped in working together with the partners to further expand the already unmatched level of service and experience provided by The Team @ CHORD Nashville.

When Sydney is not working at CHORD, she can be found volunteering in the community investing time in young people as well as area homeless community outreach. When asked for a little known fact, Sydney shared that she spends much of her time in the evenings each fall coaching area high school students as a color guard instructor. She says that she loves making a difference in young people’s lives as well as researching new technical skills that the kids will take with them well into their own adult lives. Without a doubt, Sydney Dohrmann’s heart and experience are hand-in-hand with the very purposeful culture of CHORD Real Estate, and with this level of talent combination… clearly, the best is yet to come!
