Concierge Corner – Cheekwood Estate & Gardens

Welcome to Concierge Corner! As fall is now in full swing, I am excited to share all the cool things going on at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens.

The Cheekwood Estate was home to the Cheek family, who are internationally known for founding Maxwell House Coffee. The Cheek's accumulated a fortune and were able to live on their ground in Belle Meade, TN which sits right outside of downtown Nashville. Today their former home is an art museum and a recreation of the family’s furnished home, in all it’s former glory, complete with ornate furniture pieces and decor. However, Cheekwood is arguably best known for it’s gorgeous seasonal gardens and festivities.

After a large renovation, Cheekwood has never felt more grand and well-manicured. The grounds are more spacious than ever before and now include a wooded forest as well as new year-round outdoor art installations. From September 19th – November 1 the venue will celebrate all things fall during Cheekwood Harvest. This is the perfect chance to enjoy Nashville’s mild weather, a fall inspired cocktail, and walk amidst pumpkins galore! Their decor provides plenty of room for the kids to pay and a great photo opportunity wherever you turn, making Cheekwood fun for the whole family or a perfect date night.

And this fall Cheekwood is sharing an special treat as Chihuly at Cheekwood takes place from July 18th – January 10th of 2021. These breathtaking glass sculptures are constructed by Dale Chichuly, who is world renowned for spirals and spindles of hand-blown glass, which can be found throughout the property. They prove beautiful in the daylight, but come alive in the evening during Cheekwood’s Chihuly Nights as they are illuminated and become visible from yards away.
